Need help with Dashboard / Meter light

Hi guys, my e34's seem have problem with the meter light since last week. I forgot what did i do wrong. But there must be this thing i forgot to turn off the light when i go to work, i go work before 10 am maybe around 9.50 am then get off work at 9 pm and the light still turn on. but that not it, i got change the headlight bulb at that time then test it and forgot to turn off the light. but i do not know where my mistake. So could anyone help me how to fix this up. 1. At night the meter light not function at all, but the indicator light still function. 2. If i turn on the light and turn off the engine there will have a warning sound that tell your light still on. But now that warning sound doesn't appear anymore.
