All,My new Audi got rear ended today. Bumper need to be resprayed. Always a headache to see the color is not matched properly. Need fellow Penangites for recommendation for spray painting shop. I checked around and the usual shops in Batu Lanchang have moved. Any recent experiences with the shops below:1. Nanyang.2. Seng Eam (moved to Perak Road).3. Eng Spray Painting. Thanks!

3. Eng spray painting. That's the only place i will go after seeing his work. His is doing spray painting for Auto bavaria. He really do a great job. Thumbs up for him! Go over there and look for Peter.

Perhaps you guys could be specific with the shop location as well? Would be useful when needed to find any of them.

Thanks.

Where about in Penang is Eng spray painting? Cheers.

It's located in Sungai Pinang. If Volvo on your left ( that's a traffic light just in front ), pass volvo and make a left turn to Jalan Che Rose. Straight to the T junction, just before the T junction, you will see the shop on your right. Cheers!

Went ahead with Seng Eam again. Located at Jalan Perak next to Citroen workshop. Very satisfied with the workmanship and excellent price. Saw a S500 and a BMW E90 being resprayed there as well.

My E30 is with Eng Spray Painting. Boss' name is Peter. Recommended by colleague after I saw his Lexus done very well there. They are taking their time (and I am not rushing them). I see many BMWs there and the workers are friendly.

Will post my take on the result as soon as the car is ready. By the way, my E30 engine has just undergone an overhaul, the rims refurbished and front seats re-covered - NOT at Eng's of course.

great looking ride u got

Thanks KC

I really really want to attend one of your detailing workshops. When is the next one and hopefully somewhere KL or northwards. Penang would be fantastic and I am certain there will be a lot of interest here.

Cheers.

Thanks kc for reply.

I do go to KL frequently and should have no trouble joining your workshop (unless work or family commitment stops me from going).

I noticed that the last one was in KL at end of Oct, which I discovered late. Next one I will definitely try my best to attend.

Cheers.

It seems that eng spray painting is very famous and popular in the field of automobile spray painting. I haven't tried it actually, but I think that in case if I come across such situation then I should also refer to the same. Thanks friends for guidance.

there is 1 very famous car paint shop in sungai petani ...Alot of penang cars were spray and fixed there .

Eng Spray Painting boss Peter is moody guy... poor commitment and most of the time you will never understand what is he talking... example, he said spraying a body kit is a one day job, send your car in morning and will be done in the evening. When you send you car there, he said cannot be so soon. When you go the next day.. he say impossible to complete today also. A man with no integrity and twisting his word alot.

Went to End spray painting, spoke with Peter and asked a quotation on how much approx the cost to respray my car and ballparked around RM5k above for the whole car (E60) using glasurit and will take around 2 weeks.
Is that a common figure??

Also, heard a lot about Dupont, anyone have experience with it?
