need advise regarding m3 rear bumper and original rear bumper???

as a result of no respond at my first thread ive make a new thread under a new title...really need the advise... hello all sifu....need to ask u guys something... can i buy the defuser only and attached it to the original rear bumper of my e36 rather than buying the whole m3 rear bumper??? both bumper looks the same...what differentiate the original and the m3 bumper is the defuser...is this a good idea.....or both bumper are totaly different in term of size and etc??? need info about it..appreciate your help...tq

both items are entirely different.

the m3 bumper is slightly squarer and wider.

the standard bumper is just much more rounder at the bottom. although the bumper with the m3 replica disfusser will resemble a m3's from afar but its still easily differentiated like apple and oranges....
