At last managed to get brand new M5 PP material bumper for my E39

The work begin with the removal PU fibre bodykit

The new PP front bumper easily installed with front kercher lip. Perfect fitment.

Next is the rear bumper which is quite tricky due to quad exhaust pipe.

1st step remove the PU fibre M5 bumper

Next is to fit the steel bar to new PP M5 bumper

Then, mod the rear diffuser to fit quad exhaust pipe as it only got left side hole

When tried to fit the new bumper it cant fit the existing exhaust pipe. So hv to remove the existing quad pipe.

Then fit the new bumper back to take the measurement of exhaust pipe

Custom made new exhaust pipe to fit the new bumper

Then take out the bumper again to weld the pipe jointing

Spent the whole day until evening for the new bumper & exhaust pipe installation. Yet to take the finished awesome project as it was tiring process of install & unistall bumper & hopping from bodykit & exhaust shop & vice versa.Will update the pic later.

Send for brake cleaning due to screeching sound. A small stone stuck between the pad & caliper. This is normal problem with E39 if u go thru newly tar road where small stone might stuck. Nothing serious but the sound may worry you for bigger problem.

Now sending the E39 for spray & touch up.

Another massive front part maintenance & refurbish. Since my aircond fan not working & need to dismantle front bumper, went for internal front part refurbish.

Everything dismantled inclusive of headlamp, all palstic cover, steel bar.

Then changed the aircond fan. Damn this thing very expensive so just opt for used one taken from half cut

Spray all the door lining to fade black. The car will be ready in 2 days time.
