My E60

Something unexpected happened and my cuntchill breakdown for the 1st time. Its the first time in my life any my car has to be towed. Coolant level low signal came out steam coming out from my engine bay. Dont want to risk of overheating so call for towing thou its only 5km from my workshop. Lucky it happened in town.

Kind of tricky to bring up the car.

Going down also need a technique but at least it safely reach workshop without any issue & scratch.

Getting the car ready and cooling the engine

ZF original BMW steering rack made in Hungary

Change new power steering oil CHF 11s type from germany

Mine the pump got sound when turning the steering when slow during parking. Also the internal ready losing and got sound when slow turning. Thou no leak I still change it. I believe for E46 got recond rack or even used one. There's no recond rack for E90. Jialat man.

I think I'm much more careful in terms of cars ownership. Shit happens even for new car.

My rack dah ada sight leak.. My mechanic says a replacement unit is cheaper than a set of tyres :wink:
