My Ride Failed Me Again

Gong Xi Fa Cai,Imagine on an auspicious day like this, you are about to embark on a cool holiday season.Before you can drive out, something is amiss & you know no way you gonna risk driving it.How? Which workshop is open?But the sight of familiar tech support team came to me. Knowing their ability to troubleshoot certain minor problems extends my relief Using Zodic Wi-Fi, I'm able get in closer to the prob.At last, a team of BMWClubMalaysia tech support came to my poor ride's aid.2 big complete tool boxes plus a few adjustments & screwings on the fuel lining hose & a test drive ensure things back to at least normal till the real mech is back.My sincere gratitude to:1. so many "specialists" :nyehehe: :nyehehe: came to attend to you...somemore in CNY season..must be at least double if not triple charge....

Aiyo.... Me forget to prepare the Ang Pow ler....kan cheong mah!

No worries la....B.A.R.Ts are friendly lot! I owe them big time (Ang Pow too)!

The prob is the fuel rubber lining. The one leads to the engine?

It was worn & squirting fuel like fountain in the morning while engine is running. But it doesn't happen at night when tech support was there.

Wierd hor?? :unsure:

Will get it change later...

here we go again shy la haha, Tong glad things turned out good...the problem was that the fuel hose was old and had a small crack near the hose clamp, loosen the clamp and pushed the hose a bit further up and tightened it back....the leak stopped. This is only a temporary solution better go and replace the hose.

tong first called zoggee, i assume that zoggee was in penang therefore the SOS signal was re-routed to me haha. we actually got lost on the way to tong's place but found it in the end.

I must say I'm very impressed with you bunch of guys.

This is what a car club should be and have members like you guys.

Now thats what I BMW Club Malaysia is all about.

Thanx for the compliments 1996E36328i. We are not only a club, but a community who has a common vision; is to love our ride & extend whatever help/knowledge we have !

I'm still learning on M50 & lots of fix up to do. I know I can gain help from them.
