Just bought her 6 months ago ..........Year 1990 M40B18 manual ......Totally standard stock ride ........Long way to go to make her in tip top condition ........Some pics to share here .....

Removed dashboard , seat and carpet to do the welding and anti rust job ......

A metal plate was cutted for the welding ............The saint job do at the same time ........

Found out the previous owner welded the fender wit the front grill....So decided change to new fender .........

Process to remove the existing glue ........The process is a must for new welding and anti rust job ..........
 
uncle, u just cover the rust with a sheet metal? i'm afraid this might not be enough to prevent further rusting in the area. why don't u ask them to remove it completely before welding the sheet metal?
