my E30 coupe break down.... hahaha

Last night when i was driving about 60KM distance going back to my house... 1KM before my house then engine stalling.. then when i accelerate the engine no reponse, rpm did not increase.... sigh... i've change the air flow meter today but still the same... dies off after the engine started...any L-jet owner experience this before ??? My car is 1988 320i auto with L-jetronic....The famous L-jet king in da club.... mind to share some info ??

can only suggest that it sounds like....fuel or ignition problems.

crank sensor lah...

if ECU, you cannot start the car and all the diagnostic will not light up during startup sequence.

if AFM, car can still start as ECU will take a defaolt value in its memory. FC will go up and idling speed not stable.

choke fuel filter. Very unlikely. The sympthom will come gradually.

fuel injection. again unlikely. All fail at the same time? Most unlikely. Only happen when the fuse blow.

fuel pump relay.. worth to look into it. but when crank sensor fail, fuel pump and ignition is automatically shut off.

this is what happen when you redline the car too often. he..he..
