MotoGP : Rossi v Gibenau

Did anyone catch the Jerez MotoGP race? Rossi was tailgating Gibenau for almost the whole race and with 2 laps to go, out of nowhere he overtook Gibenau. Then Rossi made a mistake in the last lap and Gibenau regained the lead. In the second last corner, Rossi made his move again and coming out of the corner, they touched each other and Gibenau was forced off the track and Rossi went on to win with Gibenau managing to get back to the track to take second place.The 2 doesn't speak to each other off track, not even a handshake after the race at the podium or parc femme.Rivalry like this is what F1 needs now!

I watched the race from the start and suddenly my wife turn the tv to watch her cartoon on 62..and when I turn back to ch82...rossi already win the race.........

BTW, the start is good..rossi leading, then he run wide...in the first corner and then giberneau took the 1st place...

The 3rd rider with Repsol honda have good fight with rossi until the rossi shows him the ultimate late braking technique ...brake until rear wheel lifted up.......very dare devil.

Gibernau did the shake hand after 3 seconds of hesitation and a very longgggg face...

I was scrolling around hoping to find some golf action when I "stumbled" on this event. What can I say...simply AWESOME!!!! There is drama till the very last corner of the race.

Now, who is at fault!!?? I think the last move by Rossi was a little ambitious and if I am Sete Gibernau, probably would be as pissed as him too

i dont think it was too ambitious. sete did a mistake. to be at the world's level, he should know better not to open any room for overtaking, especially at the last corner. he should have taken the defensive line rather than going late into the corner. sete misjudged and he paid for it.

i'll be pissed at myself. it's racing. shit happens.

but yes .. shit happens ... i still remember rossi had an accident on the last corner of the last lap all by himself ... lol

this gibernau feller i think he not enough experience lah... don't know how to react after the incident... blardy hell, after the race i see he just walk past look-look at rossi's face like not happy like that... nia mah, he should have done a eric cantona flying kick on rossi's bike then walk over and spit on rossi's face... and then hopefully they tumbuk each other and the team mechanics also fight... fuiyoh, like that lah only people see already cheekek... on track drama only where got enough...
