Mitsubishi Colt Vs Honda Jazz

Hi GUys,My bro-in-law is planning to get a smaller more fuel economical car to drive around Down Under in lieu of the rising petrol costs. He's contemplating between the 1.5i Mitsubishi Colt and the 1.5i Honda Jazz. Both are feature packed and after doing some shopping round, no other small cars come close based on technology and features.Both cars has the following:- ABS- Twin Airbags- 6.1litres/100km- POwer windows- Electric Power SteeringThe Colt impresses with its new gearless CVT technology. Can't feel the gear shift when there's no gears.....hahaha.....apparently the Colt is sharing technology with A-Class Merc since it's owned by Daimler Chrysler. Using the same chassis, engine, etc.Honda Jazz - AUD22,500 Drive-awayMitsubishi Colt - AUD18,990 Drive-away So which one's the best bet guys?

my vote go for Honda Jazz... it is much easier to get it's service part, not regarding at any country because of it's more popularity..... and it got the higest rate in safety testing in NCAP among it's category.... and many more....

Yea the Jazz has won many more awards than the colt, and it remains to be the most popular car in Japan with fussy Japanese buyers.

HOWEVER, the specs of the Colt we get here is a turbo charged 1.5 engine brought in by grey importers. Should be more fun I think, but its priced 20k or so more than the Jazz Vtec. Both come with CVT trannies.

Why not look at the Suzuki Swift and Suzuki Lianna as well. Similar pricing. But the Jazz kinda cool.....the smg make one feel as though their in F1....hahaha....

Go for the Jazz. Fren also bought one down under. He's really kiasu and fussy and had done lots of research on the matter.But it all boils down to personal preferences lar. :lol:

Go for Jazz.....wit Mugen bodykit...the car look great.....Good power wit fantastic FC....U won't regret......

i got the Swift...cheap ma....power wise i think beat Vtec la....

resale value??? dunno? but cheaper already by 20K so fark it lo...
