Mini Rear View Mirror

Errr.....since the Mini is part of the BMW family, is it possible to "transplant" the Mini rear view mirror onto a e46? The oval shape would look darn cool on an e46 coupe..... Anyone know if its possible?

think BMW was ahead of you on that one.... think the end 2003 onward ci (post facelift) models come with it standard.....saw a 2004 ci parked in the office and i noticed the interior mirror was oval......

Is that the one with the oval mirrors that come standard on the M3. I believe that one is slightly different from the ones in the Mini. :yahoo:

Ahh..... but as confirmed by Calvin, the M3 batch towards the end of 2003 and 2004 batch come with non-oval mirrors...

Quick way of spotting a 2004 model i guess.... :yes:

pope..interesting...but our saloons can put the ovals one or not..i mean the oem m3 mirrors..?..is it possible u think ?

That's exactly what i was asking.....

I mean... imagine the oval rear view mirror in RedEarth's Princess..... somemore with his ACS side grills, ACS rims, ACS spoiler.... whah! Canggih man, yes??? :yes!:
