I found magnetic Fuel Savers or magnetic gauge producta ton of it in magazine, advert claim the device can save fuel up to 11% bla bla bloody bla.......is it true?I watch mythbuster on discovery channel they test that thing but nothing visible improvement...confused..anybody here tried oledi that magnetic fuel saver here?pls share the Xperience..thanks

why not we all put in 2biji panadol dalam our fuel tank and see how it will save our consumption...

want to save fuel, just have to make sure the engine is in good running condition. u can oso remap the ECU for good low end and mid range torque. And most important of all, reduce weight on the right foot... ;)

is it take a time to remap ECU or just 15mint only,
can remap ECU by laptop or PC?

forgot to tell u remapping the ECU is an expensive affair... > RM1,500..

Remaps for later generation BMWs are done by reading the existing fuel and ignition map for your engine, then send back to HQ to change the mapping accordingly. Then send back to the agent here before being uploaded to your car..

Reduce weight too

Fabian is correct! Another one is to reduce weight in the car eg. throw away all the unnecessary stuffs from the boot (spare tyre???) and interior.
Every grams help! ;)

sorry if i offended someone by simply putting in the panadol, however it's a simple question and answer guys, if you want a low consumption vehicle why did you drive a UDM? It's a heavy car, the engine cc is big and always the owner will tekan kaw-kaw during driving...do the math
If you really cannot tahan the consumpsion why not you convert the petrol to NGV? cheaper by almost a ringgit. the cost of convertion is also about the same if you re-map your ecu.

bro,
NGV conversion and ECU re-mapping are separate issues. Re-mapping the ECU will alter the car power output perimeters to its limit thus another 10-15% increase in torque and bhp for naturally aspirated engines. Turbo engines will experience some 25-30% increased! Fuel consumption may or may not improved!

As for NGV conversion, the purpose are solely to reduce fuel consumption and cleaner environment! I was told the total cost of conversion is no less than 5k.

Cheers

That's what i'm saying la bro...cannot tahan the fuel consump then convert to NGV, not talking about enhancing the vehicle power or whatsoever...i dont know about the conversion price for BMW, however for the local made & japs car the price is around rm1k+

NGV should be used in Malaysia. Malaysia have supply of natural gas that can last for more then 30-40 years.

Nice thinking, but besides the 2 Petronas station near KLIA which has long queues of taxis, do you know where else you can find NG? Selling NG is not profitable to station owners unless the price can be raised. Then it will cost too much to be more popular than petrol for consumers.

reduce petrol = reduce polution ma

no worry mate, but
even millionaire still thinking about value of their money, my friend.

if convert to NGV is it roadtax will reduce into half?

actually discuss about magnetic gauge (fuel saver 'magic' device),
then tat magnetic thing always come with voltage stabilizer then.

what tat ' voltage stabilizer' improve performance?

Zul...which car you want to convert to NGV? If you want to buy a Proton and convert, I say ok lah. If you want to buy a UDM and convert, I say better buy a Proton then and don't waste your money. First Magnets, then Panadol, then NG! Better stick to Jap cars....

Voltage Stabilizer stabilizes voltage. Magic magnets proven to be myth by Discovery Channel. Best and proven fuel saving device...Jap car preferably Honda. :D
