m20b25 running like 5 cylinder

Hi Guys,Don't know what went wrong to my engine.. seems like running with 5 cylinder, its happen since last 3 to 4 months... Engine shaking like hell even with new spark plugs. after few days, plugs become black (but dry) at all 6 pcs... especially during idling and start accelerating.. I've consulted 2 mechanics, one says the idling valve already kong... the other says my exhaust valve already kaput...Anyone experience the same?? can anyone spot the faulty?

maybe cracked head gasket.had same issue with one of my rides.

check plug cable & spark plug one by one. no cracking sound in any section maybe valve kaput, less compression in that section. experience & checked with mechanic first hand but that ride not a udm.

remove and reinsert plug cable one by one with the engine running. if the cylinder is healthy then u'll get more vibration with the plug cable removed. If the cylinder was the cause of vibration, removing the cable will not have much difference in engine vibration.

Black plugs means engine is running rich. Too much fuel and it's choking the engine.

done that for all 6 plugs, all give more vibration to the engine (sometimes engine shut down)...

Running rich: is that something to do with CO sensor?
I observed the gas out from exhaust smell like more petrol...

How about idling valve, is it related to this problem?

check for any air leak. any cracked/harden rubber hoses and seals might cause air leak

My e34 also same problem but different case... engine running 5 cylinder when raining. After check found no 6 spark plug coil was wet,the others ok. Out of idea how water can going inside... anyone..

water from fire wall... your bonnet rubber seal old already...
