Dear Cifus,Im planning to buy a E46 model 325i M-sport. Please advise me what are the things I shud take into account prior to buy this car. What are the important things to be checked during test drive. Thanks,:smokin:

The best is drive to a BMW mechanic and jack up the car and check it. My experience when i bought my car was gut feeling and that was totally wrong. Appearance of the car is deceiving. The engine is the most important besides paint work. I learnt my lesson. Asked the seller or dealer for warranty if possible. Now my damage that i have found out is about RM8K worth of repair. Am asking the dealer to absorb it.

Oppss, never know u have the bad experience in your purchased.

Gopi, bring your friend who knows BMW to go together with u. If the dealer refuse u to bring the car to workshop for throughout check up, then just walk away.

Gopi, i'd suggest for u to get the car fully inspected at a BMW specialist before buying. Get the mechanics to perform full diagnostic on the mechanical and electrical parts of the bimmer. I'd recommend for u to bring the car to WP Auto in Pandan Mewah to get these inspections done. The owner/ Albert Fang is a very reliable foremen. U can count on him to give you accurate diagnostic on the car before taking it from the seller. All the best to you mate.
