Suggest you seriously consider BMW used car section (Premium Used Car). They offer check and warranty for peace of mind (1-5yrs) depend on car age. Goto www.bmw.com.my and click on "Used Car".

If you buy from second car dealer, must make sure to send to some reliable mechanic for checking first.

What are the 2009 320d cars selling for nowadays?

Traded my 2009 (November) 320d for RM148K at AB few weeks ago (March 2012) with 58,000km on the odo. BPS will probably resell for RM160-170K after touch up here and there and change some parts and a 12 month warranty thrown in.

Got a full spec pre-reg 2011 320d with iDrive, satnav, etc with 9000+ km on the clock and ANOTHER 5 year BSRI Just loved the diesel....it's now Alpine White with Saddle brown interior.

It's less than 90K off pre-reg price...I got my 2009 pre-reg for only 204K, so it's -56K.

Yeap! AB Glenmarie… My reasoning is this:

- 5 year BSRI worth 20K (assuming 4K per year for service and repair old car as more wear and tear as car gets older and more parts have to be replaced)
- Upgraded engine from 177hp to 187hp and iDrive, satnav, break energy regeneration, etc ...value 20K (I don't know what is realistic number, I just used 20K)
- saving on interest rate (3.3% to 2.5%)...worth maybe 1K per year, over 5 years ....value 5K
- to touch up paint work, car spa, etc to restore to showroom condition...value 3K

Total value here is already 48K. Actually a no brainer I think!

nice move.from a 320d to another 320d! mustve loved the diesel powwa! unfortunately the current f30 specs with the price is not really a worthy "upgrade" for our e90s eh?

Hooked on diesel after driving first 320d. Never knew diesel can offer so much before that....thought it was only meant for buses, lorries and black smoke.

But current f30 320d spec hmmm...don't think I will pay 270k for it..
