Hmmnn... I thought that purple color only available in facelifted E36, 1997 and above? This E36 is not facelift because it pre-1997 and old fender light, don't be fooled by the facelifted kidneys.

Driver seat looks kind of smooth with no marble lines like the rest..

No electric a/c control..

Looks like a mis-mash of parts.

328 is available from 1996 onwards, in 1995 it is still the 325 with M50B25 engine.
Engine in the engine bay looks like the M52 (328 engine) judging from the intake manifold and valve cover.
But, the oil filter housing is the older M50 type, M52 is black plastic cover with big nut, not the metal cover.
Manual AC controls, 328 comes with buttons instead of the manual dials.
Those M3 mirrors are replicas. Stock ones doesn't have that dimple on the round part.

Probably an engine transplant case, and who knows what else. There is a reason for the low price.

judging from the front absorber base, can see the 'kemek'. might be accident car.
only driver seat looks ok, the rest looking ugly.
not original 328 i think like bro 2wenty6 said.
the low price means something.

wow, great info guys, i thought the low price was hinting at something............. the search continues !! thanks :)

cosmetically and judging based on the pictures the car looks great .... and as for engine thats another story...but based on price factor i would give a thumb up for it ..maybe a couple of "G's" reduction that car should be kicking the road all the way to the red line ....

I think its a 325...just looks similar to my previous ride..

Looks and sounds fishy abit. the description of milage and the capacity plus model doesnt really tally with the age of the car. The drive side seats very obvious to have been rewrap with pvc hence the smooth surface.

the first models of the e36's 328i production was July 1994 till April 1998...could be a gray import..

no harm asking the owner and seeing the registration card....

Ok, went to check it out, its not very nice at all, shabby interior, and over all rough looking car............... however we did see a better example on old klang road on the way going to OUG, on left side before taman desa, CK Chong motors, reg is WKM 4264, silver with black leather......... best price 28k anyone recognise the number? it seems they have fitted some bling rims to it for some reason, otherwise apart from an Alfa radio, its stock standard...... some unusual names sand blasted into the glass was odd, as is the sellers claim of own owner, yet theres no/zero service records,,,,,,,, milage shows 200k on the clock.

it's extremely getting difficult to get a good e36 out there ...

your correct, it took over 3 months to find our 318, now my son wants to have it, so i thought id look for a 325 or 328 of the same caliber, ie, full service history and no upgrades......... seems harder to find than a 318i

A E36 at that price.. it's too good to be true

hhmmmnn very suspect, basic 318's are around 22+ K RM this one looks more like a 28-30k car.....

hmmn 40k to much IMHO for this car, no leather etc and too many aftermarket add ons......... looking for an uncle or aunty car hehehehe my 318 is one owner old man car, a few parking dings, but came with a complete from day one service history....... im sure i can find a 6 pottor of the same caliber......... i have patience on my side.......
