Hi bro, mine is E34 520i year 1995.
Kong means rosak, when car accelerate...under handbrake there having annoying noise 'kok kok kok'...

What did you mechanic say about the problem??? Has it been properly checked and determined?

Have been ask 3 mechanic, all also said its longshaft.
Today will send my car to one of the workshop to fix it.

Do u mean the universal U joint is spoilt? The joint near the rear differential? Not easy to get the U joint replaced. Needs to be cut off, and reweld a new joint and to have it properly balanced. Otherwise, it will have vibration.
If u can find a good one from the chopshop, better changed to a used one than to repair it.

Yes, bro...the mechanic tell me the same thing have to be cut off and rejoint with balanced.
He also told me the best way is to find one from chop shop, but as I know mine is local assembly modal direct from Auto Bavaria, its GM gearbox its kinda different from import one.
The longshaft also different.
