Lemforder Brake Disc for E30

How reliable are Lemforder brake disc for the E30? It's OEM right? Need a little insight on this heheh..
 
Yes. Its OEM quality. Solidly reliable but dont expect blistering performance.

I might have stock on that. PM me if you it cheaper. Hehe :D
 
I just need enuff braking power for the car lol...no high performance stuff =P
 
good enugh for most of us......I have the rear disc, no complaints the last 2 years..
 
zimmerman? easily wrapped I heard - sorry to potong ur steam......

ATE fronts are good.......and ATEs are used in the famous Taxi at the Ring.
 
I heard the same thing for Lemforder lol...how much for ATE's ? Now kinda rare right? hmm..

I believe there are different types of ATE disc rotors, normal OEM replacement and oso the slotted PowerDisc.. Powerdisc is about ~RM230, the oem ATE is about ~RM135...

I had an idea to buy maybe the ATE OEM and get a machineshop to cut slots on it..
 
ic..will try the Zimmerman's for now. have to wait until nxt change to get the ATE's...thanks for the info guys!
 
I thought ATE did not make slotted disks any more for our e30's. Read it in the US forums
 
lemforder for the e30 is rubbish... they warp under heavy breaking..

suggest to use the disc's from chop shops..they still have 30,000 kms life in them..after you skim them..
