no bro. I thought so too. Both airbags have different part numbers. Really sucks as I am in this dilemma. Still looking for the pre-LCI sports airbag.
The sports airbag can work with the sports, m-sports and m-performance steering though.

Maybe, like the seller of the wheel in mudah, you should get the Rounded M sports steering wheel instead, comes complete with all the buttons and airbag, and certainly looked miles ahead of the older M steering too. That itself should add 20hp to the car LOL

You can place a small deposit and he can order for you. That's what I did. Took less than 2 weeks to arrive

Yes that's correct Bimmer Coder told me the same ~2 weeks for F10 steering to arrive.
