aiyo this very hard to curelah like cancer...problems will just crop up over and over unless u change every single electronic part thats in the car and thats not goin to be cheap.

My sincere sympathy goes out to you man! I'm sure with all the chop shops around, you'll be able to put yr car back in good running condition... slowly but surely! Did you have insurance coverage for floods?

To everyone... its always a good idea to take a loading on your insurance coverage to include "acts of god"... i.e floods, tree falling into yr car, tanah runtuh etc.

my ride poor e36...im not in johor...last month when im go to puchong area then dapat penyakit there...hujan lebat n air naik cepat...so long story la...my mecha said better stndby rm5k is dat true...or any suggestion?

No experience changing to japan engine but my mechanic at USJ once did change the engine of 6 series (forgot the model but old one la) with Toyota SUPRA engine and its Fantastic...

Once drove an e30 323 with a Sylvia Engine (2.0 DET - built in turbo). Very powerful. 323 engine masuk air, KO-ed.

For an e36, you can easily fit in a Supra Engine but its going to be a 3.0L engine.. Roadtax can kill if you can't afford it.

HI 5k seems very reasonable.

Recently friend got his MB e240 3 yrs old into flood, water not so high only reach rear seat floor, car went poof!. Stealer quote him RM 100k to repair (and said maybe even that not enough, ha ha) offer to take car off him at (lowish) market value less 100k for trade in he has to buy new car as well. Lucky its co. car.

Hi bro ,water just reach rear seat floor ,the machanic quote 100k to repair ,the knife so sharp man!floor map can take out to wash,the orthers can clean what ,this price better buy another.like bear 325 ,bmw better use bmw power plant ,the altimate driving machine partner with BMW M_ _ engine .
