Hi guys, does anyone have recommendation of good exhaust shop? Actually I am importing a quad exhaust to be fitted into my E60 so it would involve some cutting of the current muffler, welding of new exhaust, replacing of the diffuser. I prefer to go to shops which is familiar with the car so things won't go bad :) Please share your contacts if there's any.

I have just done my exhaust at jfa in sunway. D new owner's wife drives a done up 530 with d quad tips n d sound of d exhaust is pretty good, ie sufficiently sporty without d irritating drone. D good thing is u know exactly what u will b getting b4 committing yrself. Owner' s name is armin n tel is 012 3575353. Alternatively u can try everco which is d corner shop nearest 2 d esso petrol station. I have seen a mix of bmws, golfs, 350s, tts, volvos there. Sori, i dont have their no. As an indication, i paid 2k 4 my twin exhaust setup, so a single exhaust with quads shd not cost more. good luck.

Thanks bro rx8 but how about the diffuser? I'm on M sports bodykit so do they sell it also or I have to buy elsewhere and bring for them to install? RM 2K for a real quad exhaust with 4 tips sounds reasonable. How about performance? :)

Sori, i didnt ask abt d diffusers, but d jfa car had them n they looked good. Again did not test drive but d growl from d exhaust was just right 4 a guy. Again i emphasise there was no droning which is of utmost importance when u buy a sports exhaust. Go look 4 yrself b4 commiting.

I called Armin and he assured me everything will be ok. Price wise sounds alright because importing myself means I have to spend RM3K+ for everything so now I'm in a dilemma :( Btw bro rx8, you have any photos to show especially the undercarriage part of your 530i? I'd like to see how it's like :p

Actually its armins wife that drives d 530 which has been tastefully converted 2 an m5. She was kind enough 2 show me d sound of her exhaust which i mentioned in my earlier post was impressive. I was there 2 do a double exhaust 4 my 3 series so it is a different sound altogether. But compare with everco 2 get d best deal.

Thanks bro rx8 again :) How's the performance of this customized exhaust then? A few things I'm concerned:

1) Sound which is too loud and can be heard inside the car (cabin)
2) Too much of growling sound/vibration
3) Loss of low end torque and top speed

Since you've had it for a few days, maybe you can share your thoughts and give some reviews? :p

Dino if i am not mistken has his own shop, somewhere in glenmarie area

Fixed my UUC at a corner shop in SS3 with recommendation from Ah Fai (Optimum). Good workmanship, takes his own sweet time in getting the the back piece done. Took a whole morning and an afternoon just to install the back pipes. Good quality of work for the price..

Bro can share the contact details or the address of the exhaust shop?

Aoch88, sori 4 d late reply. I m very happy with d new jfa sport exhaust 4 my 335. I was not willing 2 pay ridiculous money 4 d imported european n taiwanese systems. D sound is louder than stock with no drone, neither is it intrusive inside d cabin. D car feels lighter on throttle n more responsive. D original exhaust is in my opinion pretty good, d jfa sports exhaust definitely better. Will also upgrade my intercooler there in a couple of weeks. Iceman, i did try looking 4 dino last wk at d glenmarie area opposite d shell, but i did not see any exhaust shop there.

I think I'll most likely go with original quad Eisenmann from Germany. I can get a pretty good pricing so any brothers that wants to get any Eisenmann products, please PM me before they start shipping mine. I'll tell you the price and we can save a bit on shipping charges :)
