Hi everyone. This may turn out to be the silliest newbie intro but what the hey, right? OK so, full disclosure - despite driving for almost 20 years I've never actually driven a beemer before. Never had that.. I dunno.. crave? Need?.. the "damn, I wish I have one" feeling? Anyway, sometime last year I decided to get a conti for a change (and nope, never driven a Merc, Audi or Volvo either - I know, pathetic ain't it?). So began my wanderings in various forums and websites, safely cloaked behind the veil of anonymity, reading with great amusement, confusion and trepidation the various issues/comments/rants/raves by forumers. For some reason, among the different marques I was finally drawn into BMW and eventually mustered the courage to visit the showrooms and dealers.. admiring, touching, feeling.. but as stupid as it may sound, I never asked for a test drive. Anyway, to cut a long story short.. I took the plunge and finally got a brand new F10 last week. And boy, what a week it has been indeed... it's like being in love all over again.
It's about time...
