Is this matter happen to your E34

Hi everyone!!I wonder anyone have any idea with these matter or not, i m driving a E34 year 96, last nite i was trying to attempt top speed from MRR-Kesas' carrefour sri petaling to sri petaling exit, when i try to put 'right' signal while i doing 220km/h before i reach to the traffic light and stop, something weird happen to my car!!! The RIGHT SIGNAL not blinking anymore, it's become ON mode (without blinking) even i try turn off the signal but its still ON, i try to turn the signal to left but it's just blink for once and automatically off and the right hand signal still ON :motz: (even turn on hazard light also the same). I tought will off itself when the car switch off, but when i reach my home and switch off the car, the RIGHT HAND SIGNAL that is still ON!!!:rock:, and due to i m new for this car and dont know how to take off the cushion cover for remove the battery connector(and its about 12am plus), my final decision is let it be, when the battery run flat the light will off anyway...:rock:, sleep first wake up only ask help from someone!!when i on my bed, i keep thinking what will happen tomorrow, JUMP START or blalala... i decide wake up remove the cushion again to remove the battery connector.When i reach downstair i saw the light which keep ON already off, and the signal and hazard light back to normal again!! Do you guyz know what happen actually, is my wiring problem, or it's sort of warning when you drive fast?? Thanks

Maybe the car think it is not advisable to make a right turn when you are travelling at 220kph so it say steady on.

ha ha, that could be a little known build-in safety feature of the car, warning you not to take corners at 220kmh, something like a precursor to the ASC and DCS but this is passive in nature.:3::24:

read in another forum of the same issue you had but i cannot remember which one and not sure what that owner did. iicrc, it might be related to a lighting module whereby the solders were cracking and creating these intermittent problems.

of coz sir...high tech comes in many different forms. the signals are tied to the pedals on the car. left signal clutch, right signal gas, both signals means brake. so the car was saying right signal, right signal!!! this was KnIghT IndusTries 1007, which was the grandfather of KITT

me too and that why this silly thing happen to me kaka, actually is safer to let others know where you wan to go, especially from the 3rd lane, cut into the left exit, i think it is a must do step especially at night. And dont drive so fast too 220km/h will kill even just a small stone....:wink:

Hahaha....don't think they're referring to the track or F1. Surprisingly, Shuey is a very obedient driver on public roads except for the time when he got a bit carried away in that Proton Wira.
