Installing a carpc.. experience anyone?

Hi,I have a 2004 BMW e60... Local spec. Im going to attempt to put in a carPC to sit along side the idrive... Jz seeing if anyone have any experience in doing such a thing can offer some advice? Searched and seem no one that adventurous in malaysia?

Actually im particularly interested if anyone can control stuff frm the idrive controller in e60... anyone hacked or know of a product that can tap in to the idrive MOST sys?
