Dear sifus,I currently drive the 320i SE. As you know, the SE version has loads of features but lack the simple folding side mirror capability which comes standard with most cars nowadays.Where can I purchase & install the folding side mirror option for my ride? How much would it cost in terms of the parts as well as labour? A new function button needs to be also installed on the door control panel right? Will that void the warranty?Appreciate your wise wisdom on this matter :top:Thanks!

Mine's a E90 320i SE... I quite like the folding feature.. probably I'm already used to having the option to automatically fold the side mirrors if required :wink:

mine E90 325i didnt come with folding mirrors too!

I thought that the folding mirror is standard equipment on E90 especially the higher end models including the 325 CKD.

My 08 E90 325 and 09 E90 320 LCI has it.

What year is yours?

BRo ..

FYi i have install it on my e39 , which cost around RM 1450 ;exclude painting .

Its a M6 electric folding mirror which fits well on e39 .

The PRO ;

1) You have some button to play around.

The Con's ;

1) Cars that doesnt come with original foldable mirror , got to be fitted with 'relay' .This will not be an original one - so sometimes only one of you mirror fold at one push . U know.. u got to press it twice to get both working. The message from the switch button simply doesnt reach the passenger side mirror on time . This is case basis.. might or might not.
2) its is good for -apprx 1000 times use.The motor got 1 month warranty only. Kaput - throw away and buy new one . Have to buy in pair.
3) Kalau kena langgar with anything ( hardly ) sure motor kaput.
4) Installation is not friendly .. it took min 6 hrs for me .

Little info from me for you to decide.:top:

Hi Shiva 73,

Thanks for your insights... 6 hour installation is pretty long. Where did you get it done? 3rd party or from BMW authorized partners?
