i'd like to nominate:

1. m20: mr. teejay. soon to change to something else :D
2. m20: our koko mr. zoggee.

535.. i'd like to nominate you but u've nominated urself so its all good. hehe..

The reason why I nominate Calvin's E30 (with M20) engine is because of the extensive work done on the engine, electronics, wirings and etc. It may not produce as much hp or torque compared to a S50 engine in Alvin's monster but this M20 is definitely one of a kind and a gem to say the least.

Not to belittle others (including myself), but transplating engines is nothing compared to what Calvin has done. Now, Calvin when you going to buy me a beer? :nyehehe: :nyehehe:

Agree with Bundy. Calvin's mod including lots of stuffs like the Dbillas individual throttle is absolutely fabulous. Plus actually modding it like stroker kit amongst others. Just plug & play easy le.

Anyway MY E30 IS NOT CONTENDING!

Just to update you guys on standing so far, 535i is leading with 7 nominations followed by Calvin Tan and Alvin with 5 nominations each. WJ, Chriscab and XXX are next with 3 nominations each.

would like to nominate
Franklin for his M3 monster..........the twin of Alvin's 320i..........

It is possible for all the nominee to state all the mod that have done to the car after the closing of nomination date. This is allow the panel of judges to decide the best modification.

ps..sst, the identity of the judges would be unknown to prevent influence their decision with gifts or it is going to be voted by public poll.

By the way, i can see a lot of nominations for the same person. I thought the rule of nomination is that a person only need to be nominated by a person and seconded by another other than himself. After the nomination is closed, then only we vote.. hey you guys have already start lobbying even before the closing of nomination.

From what I read at the first page, it look the nomination is also counted as a vote. I think the process is not correct...
That means, I can register as a newbie and vote or nominate a person over and over again.. :getyourfactsright:

Jarance brought up some very valid points. In fact I would further suggest that upon when nominations are closed, JPB put up a poll for the nominated cars and the members will vote for the car they deemed best for the title. At least by doing so in a poll, their decisions wont be influenced by what others have voted openly.

Thank Al, but the polls only allows ten (10) items only.. If there are more than 10 nominees, how to shortlist the candidate to 10.

Wow, this is going to becomes to be like umno, mic or mca elerection.. ha.. ha..

You guys had not contributed to the process I advised over the working committee emails and meetings and chose to instead highlight your bright ideas here. That's not very friendly, ain't it? In any event, I have thot of some your concerns but got no time to reply now. Bear with me!

Kekeke, jarance maybe the number of nominations would serve the purpose to shortlist the candidates for that particular event...JPB hangover ka?? :D
