I'm pleased to announce on behalf of the Inaugural Annual Dinner Working Committee (IADWC) the implementation of "The Great Roundel Awards". You are all invited to present your nominations for a period until midnight of 10 July 2005. Thereafter, a special panel of your peers will select the Top 5 nominations and the eventual winner to be announced on that prestigious night. The winner will also be invited on the stage to collect their grand prize and say a few words (... and also receive a kiss from the beauty queen we are inviting). For the "Best Classic or Vintage" category, please nominate the forummer with the proudest looking classic BMW, taking into account factors such as rarity, originality of components, maintenance and chic-appeal.

aiya....if proper classification up to 1970...71 onwards are modern classic..which stops at 1975....after that 76 to 80 is special interest!

so cars beyond 1980...ei 81,82...are not considered classics....

i would suggest Ichiwans car, Naharms, David 2002...they are the only ones qualify for this event!

not me, foc or anyone who drives a e23, e24, e28!

aiya....i not desperate for prize lah....i'm goin for classic car event on july 2 and 3rd.....all car gets malaysian guiness book of records Certificate ler...hehehehe....

e28 can join too....

Btw where is the classic car event? I still have a ori moris minor convertible wif me. Sold all the rest of the classics.

Dun take this seriously but this is classic car contest not a popularity contest for cheepots. (no pun intended) :hmmph:

Vote for a car that you think is really a classic, imagine if an old beat up car being really voted best classic and some reps from the mass media are there to witness it, it would not be great for the club right? No?
