Yesterday i lost the cold air, the car only blow up the warm air even i switch to 16 degree. I just fill up the aircond gas last three mths. I fill up the gas due to the same problem last time. What's going on? Cooling coil? Hose? Valve or else?? Hopefully not failed on the cooling coil.

Well , you have a leak somewhere ................... cooling coil, expansion valve and condenser not design to last forever.

Fill the gas again and hopefully it last till your next "donation"

Refer to what was my mechanic said, we need to add the compressor oil b4 fill in the aircond gas..

Same problem like me,my a/cond not cold & after my pomen check all around he found that compressor motor not rolling due to a/cond relay kaput already...so change new relay & refill gas together with compressor oil & now my a/cond crazy cold..fuh...tak tahan beb...

Come bec to normal now after fill in the gas, hopefully it can use long life..

Again!! I lost my cold air again!! I noticed that both occured after i wash my car..dunno why..

Now planning to change the cooling coil..Will confirm which part going wrong tomolo..

Do what my aircon guy did...
You can get a fluroecent green dye oil to put in, then if any leaks it will show very well...

Call to Naidu juz now, he charge RM1900 for my aircond!! Is that reasonable?? Only the labour charge is RM600!!

Thanks to Justin, Roland, Fahmi and Tay which helping me on this matter..Will put my car in the workshop later, hope that Ah Soon can open my baby' heart carefully..:20: :20: I not dare to look..:20: :20:

Ah Soon call me just now, he only free after two days, that means i can only get my cold air after 5 days..

:39: Now decide to repair the aircon in TwoB..

could be your heater, i think the heater is more expensive than cooling coil

Who is Ah Soon? JB air con specialist?

That guy u mentioned to me last time, the shop is opposite the fire station..

Hmmn...What a good fung sui location.. aircond business opposite fire station.. :D

There are 2 types of cooling coil, cooper and aluminium. The aluminium is more costly (above RM1k), fast cooling but vulnerable to oxidation or acidic corrosion (what u r suffering now).

My ex-E36 did this replacement before and the cooper coil cost me RM800, labor few hundreds too (need to lift dashboard). Over night job, drive the car in at 7pm. Collect car the next morning 8am. That was decades ago la.. :D

And yes, make sure you get the right people to do because unlike Japanese car, UDM uses a lot of plastic clips/fasteners under the dash to balance the weight of the car. An irresponsible foreman will just help u to cut down the clips by half after the job.. :p

Yesterday i took my car from Two-B, total cost to repair the air con problem is RM1500 including the cost to replace the drive shaft outer cover. The mechanic found out that the position of my front strut was wrong, hence adjusted to the right position.

After replace the cooling coil, my radio can't receive the frequency as clear as last time. Curious why the radio receiver was effected? Some time it is ok, but some time not clear..
