Is it me or someone else (fellow forumers and club members) has bad experience with the shop mentioned above???Here's my story:Went to Hup Shun 2 months back to purchase a new set of Breyton Race GTS rims for my E60. Not wanting a 19" because of comfortability issue (long distance drive), I decided to get 18" instead. This guy, Ivan (I think that he's the man-in-charge.. son of the boss if I'm not mistaken) attended to me & in the end, I got a set of 18" rims from him (traded my M-Sport rims on the spot)... and also 20mm spacer. First mistake - he didn't inform me that the offset for 18" Breyton Race GTS is not compatible with E60 and need at least 25mm spacer to fix this problem. I'll leave this problem to later on.I sent those rims to my regular paint shop to be re-sprayed according to my style and got back the rims not long after. Ecstatic, I went to install the rims at Hup Shun one Friday afternoon... feeling happy coz I finally got the rims of my dream! what they do was switch my original 15mm spacer (which was in the front by the way) to the back and instead put the 20mm spacer at the front... by saying that the offset was not enough. Fine! Most of you would definitely know how awkward it is to have the front wheel looks wider than the back right??? I noticed that there's a loud scratching sound while I drove back home to PJ but thought of nothing. The next morning, I sent my E60 to Lim Tayar TTDI to change the front tires and the supervisor pointed out that the rims inner lips were badly scratched with my absorber :motz: I called Ivan right away and he just asked me to bring my car back and he'd changed to 25mm spacer. Damage has been done!!! Don't wanna got into heated argument, I sent my car back and this time, I observed him replacing the spacers. He was rushing the job and in the process of taking off the wheel nuts, he did further damage to my rims as the wheel nut gun slipped and scratched my rim's surface (near the wheel cap). He thought that I didn't notice that and pretended as if nothing has ever happened!!! I felt like pushing the fun through his throat at that moment. It was only then I realised that the back wheels were still on the 15mm spacer, which practically made my E60 look very fugly. He promply pushed another set of 25mm spacers to me but I wanted 30mm... paid the money and went home while waiting for the spacers to arrive. I also reminded him that I wanted the same wheel nuts for both front and back rims (I noticed that the nuts at the back protuded quite long). Imagine my frustration when I installed the 30mm spacers a week later and saw the long nuts! Obviously he tried to get away with it if I didn't watch him doing his job. He seemed pissed off at that moment when I told him of the nuts problem (even though I told him in the nicest possible way). He tried not to show & asked me to come back in another 2 weeks time. 2 weeks had passed, and you know what he did when I went to collect my new nuts??? his guys took all the nuts to the back and use a machine to cut the nuts... thinking that I wouldn't notice that! At this point, I was already feeling hopeless at Ivan's attidude in dealing with my problem. I just drove home.. vowing not to go back there anymore (even though the rims there are quite cheap!) Update: Now the wheel nuts at the back showed some sign of rusting!!! I have to fork out money to get myself a brand new set of nuts which could easily cost RM150-200!The end!!!
