Can't really judge comparing these videos, since they would have been under 2 very different driving situations. But yeah, I wouldn't be suprised that the 335i would be faster than an E46 M3 in a straight line. But I still think the E46 M3 would be quicker around a track. Really should try to get these 2 cars in a side-by-side shootout. I'm more intersted to see how these 2 accelerate from a standstill and go around a corner. That would be more of a real-world test. (when was the last time anyone had a rolling start drag race from 200km/h?).

some would say faster than any n/a M's guess that's why new M's are forced induction...

If it is really true....i would be poudy bastard then....hehehehe..coz i am part of 335i....not sure the above 335 already chipped or still stock....

Very true bro .. depends a lot also on who is behind the wheels ... and wht kind of a set-up each car has made ...

Mine is still stock (engine) but has the M-Tech bodykit, the akra and clubsport fitted and I can pegged behind the E46 like a magnet. Around the corners, the E92 is better as it is very nimble ..:top: ..

Datuk, i beg 2 differ. On a straight, yes . In d corners or on a track, no way can a stock 335 even with kws n upgraded arbs b faster than an m3e46 or e92.

You are not wrong there bro but like I hv said earlier, it all depends on who is behind the wheels :4: ..... moreover if one see the spec stock for stock ... the 335i is still much better, more so with its lighter body ...

E92 335i - N54B30 - 2979cc - 335bhp / 450Nm
E46 M3 - S54B32 - 3246cc - 338bhp / 365Nm

For the E46, thts the Eur version and if its the US spec is 333bhp / 355Nm ... unless u hv the E46 M3 GTR (Race version) than thats a whole lot of power for a small ride ... 438bhp / 479Nm.

Now how can I say our 335i is not better :4: ...

Track is a different story alltogether. Street rempitting, 335, 135 would fair better than the m's. RX8 dun be so humble, you have makan a few M's along the way.... :) Jom TEST any bros with M's.....

I for one would pay 2 watch. Bear in mind datuk these m fellas arent normal drivers like some of d 335 fellas n they would have honed their driving skills either on d road or d track. My money still on an m3.

You guys are no angels either :24: ... my money will be on you :top: .... hehehehe ...

RX* sudah booking M3 ka? Ok la, M is definitely an awesome piece of machinery, esp the manuals. But i guest driving techniques is as important in keeping the NA engine revs high for M3.

Errrr mr. Prez since when e92 335 comes with 335bhp stock standard?

Aiya, must bench mark 335 with e92 M3. Not E46 M3. Benchmark E46 M3 with someones E46 ESS Supercharged unit......

:listen: ...since 2010 bro .. the 2007 model Twin T comes with a 306bhp whilst mine the 2008-2009 model comes with 326bhp :4:....

2 very different cars.

E46 M3 is hard to launch (manual), needs a good driver. Torque is high up in the rev range.
E92 335i can be fast even with a average driver.

Stock vs stock from a standstill the E46 M3 would be faster with a good driver, but with a bad launch the E92 335i could win.
Around the track or twisties the E46 M3 will be faster.
