welcome aboard man! newbie here myself. just got an F10 528i. The F10 is a great car...... been 2 month, no problems whatsoever at all for me. i know the 520d is a more value for money car, only the integral active steering doesnt come in the diesel. but it does increase both driving stability and comfort. You do know that the engine is the same engine as the 320d and X1d right? and yeah the engine rattles quite loudly outside, i know as one of my neighbors have one. however if budget is not your concern, i think its worth it to pay a lil bit more for a petrol for the long term. Anyway, thats my opinion and that being said, the F10 is a great car overall. i love it!
