Hi ya'll!I'm new to this forum and wish to buy a BMW Z4 soon..[condition : year 2003/04, 2.5/2.2, new/used]I can be very sure yet which type I'm going for..But I'm here to ask about the downpayment thing..I've heard some people that we does not need to pay alotof down payment as later we may get "bad experience"?Anyone mind explaining it to me?

scud missile? thot all you guys have been disarmed and dismantled  anyway, mind elaborating your question.. don't quite follow.

I simply mean, do I need to put a lot of downpayment?
Because a few guys have mention that they had
bad experience after all the hefty downpayment they've put on their ride..

Before this I was thinking of giving more downpayment
so that later when I need not paying high monthly installment..

i'm sorry.. i don't see how size of downpayment would affect ownership experience. or do you mean experience at point of sale? kindly provide more on nature of the bad experince..

Actually thats what I'm asking for.. XD
Me too, wasn't sure what was the bad experience
about the amount of downpayment..
Also, some say they don't trust on paying a high amount of downpayment..
They rather loan 100%..
Why is it so?

usually it is either one of two reasons... 1) pokai, or 2) rather keep free cashflow for business or incidentals.
with me it's always reason number 1

Oo..
Yea, I guess it is so..
No.2 would be my reason,
that is also why I wanted to
rake out a lot of d/p so that
when monthly payment I still had extra money..

Hi Scud (from autoworld or not? Le bo sui? ) sorry if not.

Hire Purchase is ok lah. But got no reflection on whether car is good or not. Bring to bmw specialist for diagnostic check.

Welcome to club.

Ooo..
Where is the best place to bring the car
to get a diagnostic check?
I'm from Klang..
And what does diagnostic check do?
Also, can I bring the car to check before purchase?

welcome aboard , dude . it's all up to you . i would opt for max dp & min monthly instalments .
