Help! Difficulty in starting e30!

Hi folks,Need your help. It takes very long cranks before my 1988 320 e30 catches. ts almost as if fuel is not reaching the sparks but mechanic cant seem to figure it out. Anyone with any ideas? Promise to but you a drink if your suggestion works! Thanks in advance.dnhoh
 
erm..

1. battery discharged..
2. fuel system malfunctioning..
3. injector leaking..
4. distributor rotor carbon-tracked..

try to check this first..
a simple one.. :D
 
could b.....

1)fuel pump relay..?
2)ignition coil?
3)faulty fuel pump?
4)spark plugs?
5)sparkplug cables?
6)sticky AFM?
7)battery or alternator?
8)ECU(very unlikely unless ur as unlucky as me)

these r just a few suggestions i can think off dude...best get ur mech to run a check on the suggestions by us...

all the best and do keep us updated as to the actual fault yeah!

My e30 1988 325i had similar problems, changed to a new starter, its ok now.

sell the E30, buy an Alfa!

Just change the starter motor la...

change the stater is a good idea..
my car had done that..

if not okeh,
then check your fuel pump..
