Help a geek to find missing BMW apps...

I don't know where to put this question....so my apologies to the admin if I got it in the wrong one. Please move this question if I messed it up

How do access the apps on the I drive? apps like Twitter, FB that comes with the BMW connected app?

1. I've downloaded the app on my iPhone 5
2. Connected it via USB to the iDrive
3. Went into the connected drive sub menu ( that's where people access it from apparently )
4. Nothing is in there except the standards like BMW live, Mobile support number, service number

Btw, am driving F30 316i 2015 model. It's running the latest I drive firmware according to the dealership.

I think only the idrive that comes with 328i allows access to BMW apps. Sucks I know...

You mean the one with sat nav? That really sucks!

Wonder if those guys from bimmer coding could do something...hmmmmm..........
