hi everyone! i'm a new forum member who has been snooping around (silently as a non-member) for info before being a proud owner of a '97 uk spec e39.it's not a double vanos but i'm pretty happy with the engine condition. 
hope i can learn from the otais/sifu around to maintain this classic model. so far, i've just repaired some minor oil leaks + bush. a few more repairs/changes and keeping my fingers crossed that my e39 will not fail me.see you around while i search the forum for recommendations/advice.
