Hi folks, being a newbie to this forum, and my E46 being one month old - one of the bulbs on the headlamp went out (shown on my dashboard indicator). I was planning to replace both the headlamp bulbs with Philips Crystal Vision 4300K H7 bulbs.I was just wondering that if I replace the bulbs myself, would that cause the indicator to go off? The diagnostic tool does not need to be reset, does it?

yes you can, relatively simple to replace, the 'cartoon' on your dash will go off and no resetting is required
