head lights wiring melted

my car is the facelift version , as the title says , i have problems with my cornering lights wiring therefore the cornering lights failure error keeps appear when i turn the switch to auto mode , if i just turn the switch to number 1 or 2 , it wont appear as i guess cornering lamp only function when in auto mode .. has anyone face such problem ? I did go to dealer to consult and were quote to replace 1 set head lights cost RM7k per piece , which is rm14k per set :62: :62:

Same thing happened to my e60 as the electrical wires were brittle and cracked. I had it rectified at WRC Car Lamp Centre @ Sunway. Use Mr Goggle for the address and contact details.
