I was actually looking for a suitable front spoiler for my e34. Going for the m5 or ACS looks is totally out of the picture. Cause the spoiler is not really a spoiler after all, as it's actually half of the full bumper, and it need to be painted (i admit, I'm on a tight budget, cause I'm still a student). And if I were to go for that look, I need to go for the side skirts and rear skirting as well.. and that equals to more $$. Also not going to go for Alpina either (if eggie were to suggest me this hahahah ), cause I'm running on ACS type 3 racing. The car would totally look as if it has identity crisis.So while I was surfing around in the net for suggestions from BMW forums in UK and USA, I found that quite a number of them opt for the 'volvo spoiler trick'. Which they will a buy a volvo 940 front lip from the junkyard, and mount it on their e30/34. Some may mount it right-side up or upside down (which i prefer the latter).And this is not just strictly for BMWs, but other makes as well. As i've seen a picture of a honda jazz doing the volvo lip trick, while I was googling for images of this said 'trick'And here are some of the websites I mentioned earlier; http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=332415http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=75827And here are some picture of the said trick;
Right-side up
Upside downSo as the title suggest, has anyone did this before?
