Hardened Brake Pedal

Hi everyone

Just checking if anyone encountered the following issue before.

After, say 2 days of non-driving, I would have difficulty starting the car. It is not ignition system based I think - I suspect it has to do with a very stiff brake pedal which I will need to apply a lot of strength before I can depress is and the car can be started.

Never noticed this issue previously.

Maybe the car does not detect that you have the key

Nope never encounter this before, the only time my brake pedal became stiff is when I 'm using cruise control which is normal I think for safety reasons.

I've had my car not been driven for a week before and had no issues either.

The car does detect the key, it can turn the system on but the ignition/engine wont fire as it is not detecting I have pressed the brake pedal (which is a prerequisite).

1 week and no problem ? ok then it is certainly something I need to highlight to AB when I get the car services soon.
