Gear indicator lights ON

after checked with the computer.. the error is Solenoid valve 3. What should I do ? Expert and sifuss.. Please advise

if confirm the solenoid valve got fault code , then have to change then delete the fault code by GT1 lo...
ur long shaft issues settle alrready ah??

for my e36, it cost about RM180 so I think for e46 should be around the same price.

The last time it happen to me, I was ask to also replace all the 3 solenoids as the total cost is relatively about the same price for the replacement of the ATF and filter.

The reason being the labour cost to dismantle the GB and replacing the ATF would be added should another solenoid failed later.

Solenoid valve no 3 contact pin is broken.. just replaced this solenoid valve and everything came back to normal.
