Funny sounds in the morning.

Hi guys, im driving a 2003 e46 325i. Sincerely needing ur expertise on this. It usually happens in the morning when i crank it, warm up before i leave. Is it normal for the car n engine to vibrates when the car is idling (wobbling). The RPM is around 600 n unstable. After 5 - 10 minutes warming up n i drive off, the throttle is not responsive, tend to be "jerky". When im cruising between 2500 - 3000 RPM, theres a howling sound (wuuuuu...) within the cabin (not really sure where its coming from), its like strong wind until i release the pedal. It will be fine in the afternoon when im out for lunch. Wats seems to be the problem? Thanks.Cheers

Possible cause of engine vibration while idling is the double vanos seals failure. For more info on vanos failure and symptom, go to http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/vanos/.

With regards to howling sound, it could be your clutch fan.

Better to send the car to a competent mechanic for a through check. Since the symtoms are more obvious in the a.m. it would be better for you leave your car overnight with the mechanic so that he can it when the car is first fired up.
