Guys, Trying to remedy the situation. After parking the car(with handbrakes and P engaged),got out of the car and 50% of the time there will be a sound(metal creaking) coming from the rear(near wheels area) after I got out of the car. Is it a suspension problem or rear brakes prob? Thanks for listening. :) P.S. At first I thought its the driver's weight problem :D ,but nah....shouldnt be that lar.

It is the sound fr rear disc brake ..the caliper did not bite hard enought maybe due to either you not pull the handbrake hard enough or the rear disc start to thin out..experience the same thing before it not a really bigh problem.. :p

normal on most cars if you do not pull the handbrake until it locks. otherwise you may need adjustment to the handbrake cable...

Thanks guys. I suspected as much.Just lucky dont hav to spend lots of $$$. This month overspent ah.Hehe :D

Yup, not too worry, its the handbrake thing.

if you dont want that sound, either pull handbrake higher or put some stone at the wheel :yahoo: :p

Well to ensure the sound root, u might park ur car at a levelled road...don't pull your hand brake. See whether the sound persist. If the sound is still there...it might be from your exhaust assembly...no harm though...merely caused by heat shock to your exhaust...

Confirm handbrake didnt pull hard enough. Thanks for your help guys.
