For E30, need to file off some on one side of the ring as the strut tower plate is narrower on the E30....

dear all Shifu, i am a newbie here...hope anyone can help me here.
Just want to ask whether is there any different for strut bar design /mounting for our Bimmer running on timing belt? or timing chain?
how i know if my e36 318i (1997) BMW is running on belt or chain?
can i fit the front & rear strut bar to increase balance for cornering? does it really helps alot?

Will have another batch on the way... Let me know if any of you still interested...

I just gotten delivery of a new batch of the reinforcement plates.

Those interested can PM me to arrange for collection.

Price is the same at RM90 (COD).
Postage is additional RM5 (Poslaju)

I am interested if it fit E46 ci.

For the E46ci, needs to cut a bit to become 'C' shape for it to slot into place. Structurally not affected by much.

Anyone in KL can cut it?

Any saw can cut, any competent mechanic can do for u.
But before doing that, best to check on the car first. maybe can get it in without cutting.

OK from what I gathered, on the E46 cabriolet, the plate needs to be cut like this:

so that it can fit through the 2 holes in this photo
