Front suspension problem

Gentlemen, sifus...i'm a new guy here... my ride 318i 1997 the problem with my ride is when i'm breaking at cruising speed ~90km the steering wheels rattles a bit. it does not happen so at lower speed. previously my steering rack was leaking so i got a potong one, changed both tie rods and lower arm bush... is it the ball joint or sth else...?thank you in advance

Sounds like control arm gone or front disc brake warping.Normally steering rack if leaks u just send it for overhaul, that is changing the seals, bushings and necessary machining if required, theres also a set of steering rack overhaul kit sold at spare part shop. Unless it still leaks after overhauling it then you should resort to used rack. Do keep in mind mechanical parts are repairable unless they are seriously damaged.

I think it is the brake disc wasped.

Better to change to the 325I or 328I ventilated disc if money is ok.....

It will last longer.

If you intend to upgrade to 325 ventilated disc then you also need to change t o 325 caliper.
I have the 325 caliper and ATE power disc in my store room.
