Being one of the car care enthusiast, i found car detailing brings most enjoyment after the "Hardship, elbow grease effort" to maintain our cars. Unfortunately, there is no Doctorship, Degree or Diploma courses that we can attend locally besides the adhoc detailer invitation. :D (correct me if i am wrong, thank you)As such , i have written some basic information on the steps of car detailing so that we can reference just in case we forgot after aged. Click link below if you wish to know onhttp://www.ultimateshine.com.my/index.asp?p=/static/Detailing%20Tips.htmlHow to wash car to minimise scratches. What is , Why and How to clay ? Any alternative substitute to claying? Difference between wax and sealant. How to restore your yellowish headlights to former glory, etc.

Hi, maybe you would like to introduce yourself in General Forum "Newbies" and read the commercial rules and regulations to equip yourself with some knowledge as how the FORUM runs its daily affair :)

Thanks and Regards.....

Another frequently asked questions :

Should Sealant come before or after wax ?

Sealant is a concentrated wax with longer sustainable protection than wax and therefore sealant should apply before wax.

To obtain the longest possible protection, surface preparation is the key to ultimate shine nirvana ! Claying should always be done before sealant and wax even the paint condition is silky smooth unless the clear coat is just polish .

More to come

Just tried the latest V.3 of ONR that I got from you. Great stuff....it cleans a bit better and the finish is even glossier than the V.2.

Thanks a bunch.:top::top::top:

The difference with the V2 and V3:

Can't really see from the pics except for the "NEW FORMULA" sticker.

But the description says '1 oz to 2 gallons' instead of '2 capsful (1 oz) to 2 gallons' in the old one. Furthermore, does not show the dilution rate for QD strength any more.

My other hauls:

Got my work cut out for the weekend.

And did I mentioned that THIS is a great shampoo....

Now....I think I'm done with Optimum for a whole year...unless the new 'HYPER' polishes are here....

Best of regards.

wah, din even know ONR got 3 versions?! I see ur v2 is greenish (teal) in color, like the new v3. does that mean the blue one is actually v1?

and how's the result of OCW vs ONR?

V1, if I'm not mistaken,is tangerine in color, V2 & V3 color almost the same - milky blue, so I think it's best to describe it as V2.1 instead of V3 as it's suppose to be an upgrade. The pics I took are with my crappy phone camera so didn't do justice.

OCW vs ONR...well....I still shudder to thinking about trying the ONR on my weekend wash...dreading the horrible swirl that I instilled on the first few occasions when I first tried the ONR. I only use ONR when the surface is not too dirty, or when I'm sure it won't marr the paint (after a couple of years of using ONR, I'd roughly know whether it's safe to use ONR or not after evaluating the surface). So OCWash is my go to weekend wash with ONR in-between.

Anyway, I've only used the new formula once and I definitely think it's too early to make any conclusion. I know that traffic (oily) film is difficult to be remove with the 'old formula'...so I might have a go and try the V3...or should I say V2.1

Regards.
