Flat tyre monitor (rpa) failure & driving stabilization (abs)

Do you guys experience this problem before? Few days ago, when I start my car, two warnings light shown up.

Is this something to do with sensor?

How much will it cost for this repair? My warranty just over[emoji29]

mine still have warranty & sent back to ingress, they said it was throttle body module fault, manage to claim & replaced... problem happen clocking at 59k mileage....

I have that problem also and I think you need to check and replace the tyre/speed sensor

I had the problem and sent to AB to repair. RFT sensor was damaged and cost about 600 to replace.

Hello All,

I got the sensor replaced and now it is perfect.

It costed me RM410 (inclusive of labour) for an OEM product. I got it fixed at BMWard in Kuala Lumpur.

From my experience, it does not impact the driving. You just have to be careful and make sure your run flat tyre is ok. To be safe, don't drive fast.

I am having the same problem few days ago, first the FMT failure message, it come and go, then after the FMT failure message appear agib, follow by drive train malfunction, and later gear box overheated message error code. Now is checking by workshop for and still cannot figure out what is the problem. Any one can help to advise. BTW my car is F30 sport Y2012, Will this caused by weak battery, someone mentioned this in other BMW forum, not so sure this is the caused.

Hi all, I've experienced similar problem with warnings. I replaced my rear left wheel speed sensor as this was detected faulty from local bmw repair shop in ipoh using his own scanning tool. Cost rm300.

I have this problem too, it comes and go? it normally comes when stationary or just start engine, but goes off when in higher speed..
I wonder it is tyre pressure sensor or other faulty. if i go check workshop and the light is not off, are they able to check the error?

This probably caused by the lousy wheel sensor, fitted behind the disc brake, accumulating dirt, dust and sand over time, very bad design for this F30. I wonder all bmw having this same issue.

I just replaced the wheel sensor 5 months ago for one of the wheel sensor. This month the warning indicator came up again. Anyone recommend cheaper place to get this Original wheel sensor?

Hi All, just wanted to share, same problem with my 2016 LCI. Warning came on and off a week ago, will try get it checked by Svc Ctr soon. Any permanent solution to this, do advise!

I find that the car will change your gear shift revs when the warning happens, probably trying to slow you down.

I find that the car will change your gear shift revs when the warning happens, probably trying to slow you down.

Get the OBD scanner to view the fault code. Most probably due to wheel sensor. Wear and tear stuff. Should be able to get it replaced at RM 250 inclusive labour charge.
