Dear friends,
I am planning to buy a 2014 F30 320i from a local 2nd hand dealer.
So far I checked the service history from Wheelcorp and Ingress Auto and they inform me there is no major issue with the car but only a small problem whereby the previous owner complaint about gear box jerking.
However, Wheelcorp said that the gearbox issue has been settled with a remapping of the ECU. Just have few questions here:
1) Is it true that the gearbox jerking can be a ECU remapping issue?
2)Any other advice to lookout for in the car during my test drive?
3) Why the service records from BMW is not in booklet form but from system?
Is these a common practice or the dealer is not telling the truth?
4)Additionally, can anyone share the contact of a mechanic/BMW service shop to inspect the car before I put my downpayment.
I dont mind to pay extra on these just to have a peace of mind.
Thanks bros.
