Guys,

Can I check whether your F30 comes with any jack and lug nut wrench? I looked almost everywhere in the boot and couldn't find any, only have a tow key, a miserable plyer and a special lug nut. Reason I'm looking for these tools (a pretty standard issue for almost all cars) is that i planned to ditch my RFTs and replace with conventional tyres, thus the necessity for such tools.

Please confirm...

If not mistaken, the said items are the only tools they supplied to us. This is because we don't have any spare tyre anyway

c-square,
I just checked my car. No jack and no wrench. It is supposed to be RFT and the car does not carry a spare tyre.
Hence, such tools are not supplied. Regards.

Thanks for the confirmation, guys. So it looks like I gotta go out and buy those stuff myself then. Btw, the lug nut wrench are all the same size, right? ...and I can just walk into any hardware shop and pick simply pick one up?

You can buy the wrench which has 4 branches like a cross. Each cross has a different size wrench to fit all cars I suppose.
Your car may also have a special shape anti-theft lug bolt on each wheel. Ensure that you have the adaptor in your tool kit.
Regards.

If you buy the BMW slim spare tyre kit, you will get the jack as well as the wrench.

Our vendor here sells it.

I bought one and it was extremely useful!

Personally I prefer getting those hydraulic jacks from ACE Hardware. Makes tyre changing so much easier, I saw one for RM80+ which looks like something in the photo below. Can be used for up to 2 tonnes.

when using these jacks make sure you find out where are the jack points. else might damage the car
