F30 adaptive suspension replacement

Hi Guys, time for me to change absorbers as they are worn out. Mine come with the adaptive m suspension, looking to change to something sportier, any recommendation? Currently on H&R and I know ppl are saying to pair it with a Bilstein B8, but that means I'll lose the adaptive function. Is it worth losing the function? As the cost of replacing the original adaptive absorber is a bomb.

There is a company in KL that can rebuild adaptive absorbers and increase the stiffness rate to 40%. PM me and I will give you my experience of using them. They are recommended.

I believe the 1 you mention is Reiber? I'm abit skeptical on the reliability of rebuilding stock absorbers. Probably you wanna share your reviews on it?

The shocks were rebuilt by Reiber. The car still runs stock springs. Reiber tell me that the damper efficiency is 40% stiffer due to increased oil viscosity. The car runs ok, not sure if the adaptive capability has been changed, there is not a great deal of difference when switching modes, but saying that I have not had a change to run it down any winding roads yet. I didn't realise how worn the shocks were until I drove with the refurbished items.

From the small amount of driving I have done since the overhaul I can say the adaptive functionality has not been tested, I tried switching between modes with no big difference noted, saying that, this was the case before the work. The ride is harder than before in all modes, the shocks were quite worn before so were very soft. Ride is a bit harder than before and the handling/cornering is better. I am planning a road trip this weekend so will report back after that.

Apologies for the delay. Road trip completed, suspension worked well, there is a squeak from the rear that I need to go and get resolved. Apart from the squeak all was good. I am not sure on the long term reliability but up to now all is good. The adaptive function appears to be working but in order to fully prove that I guess it will need to be driven straight after getting out of a car with 100% BMW suspension that is fully operational.
If you are considering, or need to, overhaul your suspension you should consider using Reiber.
