From what i heard,yes it is tax free around 50% but out of 365 days, you can bring the car out to mainland for 90 days only. Unless you wanted to settle down there just for the ride :eek: However you should be able to bring back the car to mainland after 5 years without any tax but with your own transportation cost.

There might be some other ways as we are in Boleh country but i dont know la..
 
I was told one of the ways to breach the 90 days rule is to get the authorized car service centre to issue a letter stating that your car is due for service & maintainence. So, this might be one of the possible Boleh ways.. :D
 
yup the days for maintenance and repair wont be included on the 90 days term so there you go..
 
this would be interesting to find out, what's the way to take cars to mainland.. if there is this condition, sure when you buy the car the seller will tell you some interesting "workaround" .. anyone with experience on this care to enlighten?
 
wuu nice.......just been to langkawi last week. got so many supercars inside Mofaz.
